ETHICS CHANNEL

Based on the Mission and Values and enshrined in the Irregularities Reporting Policy and in the Code of Ethics and Conduct of the Teixeira Duarte Group, the acting of EPOS and its employees are guided by the assumption of actions that prioritize the prevention and prohibition of non-compliance practices, such as, for instance, bribery, corruption or violation of principles of business ethics and thus complying with the anti-corruption laws and standards applicable in the countries where it operates, as well as Teixeira Duarte’s internal rules.

In compliance with this Irregularities Reporting Policy and the Code of Ethics and Conduct, the Teixeira Duarte Group has implemented a complaint reporting channel, the Ethics Channel, which allows the reporting of facts related to corruption, as well as any other non-compliance that may involve the practice of an illicit act, namely issues of harassment or discrimination, in a totally anonymous manner. For this purpose, a procedure is foreseen that establishes the way to report, control and process the complaint reports received within the corporate structure as a measure to prevent and fight inappropriate practices, which guarantees the anonymity of the complainants, if they so wish.

Reports of violations of applicable external and internal rules can be received through the Teixeira Duarte Group’s Complaint Reporting Channel and also through the following channels:

  • Correspondence addressed to the Board of Directors or the Supervisory Board of Teixeira Duarte, S.A.;
  • E-mail to the address compliance@teixeiraduarte.com, with exclusive access from the Ethics Team;
  • Email to the address conselhofiscal@teixeiraduarte.com, with exclusive access from the members of the Supervisory Board.

The Ethics Channel can be used by all employees, customers, suppliers or other stakeholders of the companies of the Teixeira Duarte Group. If you are aware of the practice of an act that you consider non-compliant with legal standards or internal regulations, do not fail to report it. Teixeira Duarte guarantees the anonymity of the communications received if the complainants so wish, as well as the absence of any reprisals to complainants for good faith reports and the protection of the personal data of the complainant and of the suspected offender.
