Last October, EPOS, S.A. signed a contract with MATSA – Minas de Aguas Teñidas, S.A., a company held by Mubadala Investment Company and Trafigura Group Pte Ltd, to provide maintenance services for all heavy production equipment connected to the mining operation of Mina de Aguas Teñidas, in Huelva (Spain). The contract has a term of five years.
For the execution of this contract, a team of 60 mechanical and electrical technicians will be involved, supported by 5 engineering elements, as well as Occupational Safety, Health and Hygiene (SSHT) specialists, among others, who will ensure the equipment assistance and maintenance service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The contract now signed follows on from a previous contract of a similar nature, carried out over almost 3 years, which allowed EPOS to consolidate an image of trust with MATSA.
EPOS thus guarantees for another 5 years its presence in the Spanish market, as well as the opportunity to strengthen the confidence of such an important client in the context of the mining activity, with an enormous potential in Spain and the rest of the world.
