The work consists of excavating and supporting about 29,800 metres of galleries (ramps and sleepers) in waste rock and ore. In addition to this work, the contract also provides for the transport of around 2.2 million tonnes of material, the application of 171,000 3.0 metre steel rods, and the transport and application of 34,000 m3 of shotcrete.

Maintenance of runways, application of metallic meshes and assembly of electrical, water, pumping and ventilation infrastructures are also works to be carried out under the contract.
